A Soft and Lengthening Bench Routine
Description
Choose your own music and move along in real time! This fluid and easy movement routine allows your body to stretch and feel looked after. Either as a warm-up before or a warm-down after a sports activity, a rehearsal or a show. It takes you through a smooth back, spine and neck flow ending with a nice knee treat. Please note: although this routine is filmed on a bench, you could also follow the same moves sitting on a chair. Should you find yourself without a bench backrest, be creative in finding an alternative: maybe use a dining table, a window sill or a bookshelf to slide your arms on (make sure it can take your bodyweight though), or use a wall to press against for when you get to the arms sequence. Ballet barres lend themselves perfectly for this too of course.
